Municipality of Stara Ushytsia: the path from strategy to results

This municipality of Khmelnytskyi oblast has been showing dynamic development of tourism for five years, implementing projects and attracting the public. With the support of U-LEAD, camps for veterans and youth were held here in 2024. How they manage to combine creative, touristic and human potential - we will tell you further.

At the time of its creation, municipality of Stara Ushytsia was neither famous nor rich. Rather at the limit of capacity, which gave a chance for unification. Today, tourism is developing strongly in the municipality, projects are being implemented in various fields, and investors are appearing. Moreover, as the head of the Regional Office "U-LEAD with Europe" in Khmelnytskyi region, Dmytro Vasylenko, notes, this movement is permanent.

Youth centre activities: sharing best practices among municipalities in Rivne Oblast

The municipality of Smyha in Rivne Oblast has become a hub for sharing best practices in youth work. The Regional Office of U-LEAD with Europe in Rivne Oblast held a meeting in the municipality on this topic, inviting officials and youth work practitioners from 12 other municipalities in the oblast.

From under-enrolled schools to an effective educational network: case of Bilyky municipality

Following the establishment of Bilyky municipality in Poltava Oblast in 2020, steps were taken to develop an education management system and ensure its smooth operation. At the same time, there was a need to analyse the network of educational institutions inherited from the former district and determine how it should be developed in the future. Throughout this process, the municipality received support from experts at U-LEAD with Europe. Today, these solutions help the municipality make more effective use of resources and create better learning conditions for children.

Youth camp in Yasinia: how three municipalities are shaping a common language of leadership

The first round of the Leadership School camp/exchange programme in the municipality of Yasinia, Zakarpattia Oblast, has come to an end — four days of lively communication, team challenges and new insights for young people from the municipalities of Kulykivka, Chernihiv Oblast; Velyka Omeliana, Rivne Oblast; and Yasinia, Zakarpattia Oblast. A simple yet ambitious idea — to bring together teenagers and young people aged 14 to 25 through shared activities, learning and experiences — turned into an event where "team" became more than just a word, and connections became more than just a list of contacts.

Fire, water and training for true patriots: Bakota Hub’s youth summer camps have come to an end

60 boys and girls from municipalities of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast received training in patriotic youth summer camps in Bakota. The youth learned to survive outdoors, fly drones, mastered land navigation, honed good habits, and, naturally, had fun and learned about the history of their native land.
