“U-LEAD with Europe” invites your team to participate in the Comprehensive Improvement Program “Business Environment of the Municipality”!
What is it?
This program aims to increase the level of professional competence in the field of analysis and self-assessment of the business environment of municipality, the effectiveness of business support measures; integrate the results of the self-assessment of the business environment of municipality into the management cycle; develop a report on the results of the municipality's self-assessment of the business environment and form a list of tools for improving the business environment of the municipality.

Active participants who are ready to put new knowledge into practice!
Selected teams from 10 municipalities (two people from each, a total of 20 people) with a population of up to 50 thousand, who are not located in the temporarily occupied territory, have high interest and motivation, technical capabilities to join online events (microphone, camera, ability to connect in the absence of electricity), and are ready to invest their time in the Program.
The teams may include representatives of local self-government authorities and relevant enterprises, institutions, and municipal organizations responsible for the interaction of local self-governments with the business environment in their municipalities.

This is also an opportunity to: gain up-to-date knowledge, determine the state of the business environment in your hromada using the proposed methodology; build communication and interaction with businesses territorial hromadas; share experiences and build partnerships with colleagues from all over Ukraine.
When?
The program starts on March 11 and lasts for 8 weeks.
Participants will receive certificates upon successful completion of the training.
How to register?
To participate in the selection, you need to fill out the attached application, prepare a letter signed by the head of the municipality regarding interest in this program, guarantee of participation of the selected municipality representatives in the events, fulfillment of their tasks and send both documents to the e-mail address: regops.u-lead@giz.de by 18:00 on February 21, 2025, indicating in the subject line «Business_Municipality name_Oblast». Application in MSExcel format, guarantee letter in PDF format.
