Join the Programme "Land audit in the municipality"!
What is it?
It is an opportunity to learn the practical skills needed to perform a land audit in a municipality.
Within the framework of the Support Programme, the participants will:
- learn about modern approaches to organizing and conducting land audits in municipalities;
- master practical tools for analyzing the effectiveness of land use and identifying violations in land relations;
- learn how to identify unused or unregistered land plots and assess their revenue potential;
- understand how to use the results of land audits for strategic and spatial planning and management decision-making;
- receive step-by-step instructions on creating and working with a "smart table" for land accounting;
- create a local geographic information system (GIS) for municipality land accounting based on the QGIS software product.
When?
Ten weeks, starting on 22 July 2025. All events will be held online and are free of charge for participants.
Who can participate?
Selected 28 participants (14 municipalities – 2 representatives from a municipality) with a population of up to 50 thousand people that are not in the temporarily occupied territory and are not in the territories of active hostilities.
Teams of 2 participants are invited to participate (in any combination).
Officials of local self-government bodies:
- Heads of the structural unit for land issues
- land surveyors or other specialists, responsible for supporting land issues in the community.
Based on the results of successful training, participants will receive certificates.

To participate in the selection, it is necessary to fill out the application attached and send it to the e-mail address: regops.u-lead@giz.de until 6 p.m. on 27 June 2025, in the subject line of the message, indicating "Land Audit_ Name of Municipality_Oblast" in MS Excel format.
